Frequently Asked Questions
A lot of the same questions come up over and over, so I put together this page to answer them in one place. If what you're looking for isn't here, just reach out. I always want to hear from you before you order if you have questions.
Ordering and turnaround
How long will my order take?
For custom branded items (One Touch stickers, Top Loader stickers, SpringCore stands, custom magnetic holders, custom hockey pucks), the first step is a proof. I usually send proofs within 24 hours during the work week. Once you approve the proof, I print and ship within 2 to 3 business days on top of your selected shipping speed. So if you pick USPS Priority and approve your proof same day, you're usually looking at 3 to 5 business days door to door.
For non-custom items (Mag Mount wall displays, Slab Hook displays, off-the-shelf magnetic holders), there's no proof step, so I ship those within 1 to 2 business days.
If you have a hard deadline like a card show or a stream, please mention it in the order notes or email me before you check out. I'll do my best to hit it.
Where do I upload my logo?
Right on the product page, before you add to cart. Every custom product has a file upload field built into the ordering form. Drop your logo file in there (.ai, .pdf, .png, or high-res .jpg all work), and it comes through with your order. I'll use that file to build your proof and send it to you for approval before anything goes to print.
If you somehow miss the upload step at checkout, don't panic. Just reply to your order confirmation email with your logo attached, or email me directly at sales@actualprints.com. Nothing goes to print until I have your artwork and you've approved the proof.
If you want me to look at your design before you order (to confirm dimensions or make sure I can work with it), email me first. Happy to take a look.
What file formats do you accept for artwork?
Vector files are best (AI, PDF, SVG, EPS) because they scale cleanly to any size. If you only have a raster file, high resolution PNG or JPG is fine, but please send the largest version you have. For sticker orders specifically, anything above 300 DPI at the final print size works.
If your logo has a transparent background, please send a PNG with that transparency preserved.

What's the difference between One Touch stickers and Top Loader stickers?
This is the most common question I get, so let me break it down.
One Touch stickers
One Touch stickers are rectangular stickers 1.1 inches wide that wrap around a magnetic "one touch" card case (the hard plastic hinged cases you snap a card into). The sticker starts on the front, bends over the top edge of the case, and continues onto the back, sealing the two halves together and branding both sides. Because the sticker has to bridge the top edge, the length depends on how thick the case is: a 35pt case is thin so it needs a shorter sticker, while a 180pt case is much thicker and needs a longer one. That's why I offer One Touch stickers in sizes matched to 35pt, 55pt, 75pt, 100pt, 130pt, and 180pt cases. If you work with multiple card thicknesses, the variety pack is usually the right call.
Top Loader stickers
Top Loader stickers are wraparound rectangular stickers that go around the open top edge of a top loader (the rigid plastic card sleeve you slide cards into). They seal the top loader shut and add your brand to the opening.
So if your cards live in magnetic "one touch" cases, you want One Touch stickers. If your cards ship in top loaders, you want Top Loader stickers. A lot of people use both because they sell cards in both formats.
What's the difference between narrow and wide top loader stickers?
Wide stickers are 1.1 inches wide and work best for horizontal logos (wider than they are tall). Narrow stickers are 0.75 inches wide and work best for vertical or compact logos. Pick the variant that matches the shape of your logo so it fits the sticker area cleanly without stretching or shrinking.
What does the variety pack include?
The magnetic card holder sticker variety pack comes with 4 of each size (35pt, 55pt, 75pt, 100pt, 130pt, and 180pt) per sheet, so 24 stickers per sheet total. It's a good option if you deal with multiple card thicknesses and want to make sure you always have the right fit on hand.
Can I put a different logo on each side of the sticker?
Yes, for most products. When you send me your artwork, just include both designs and note which one goes on the front and which goes on the back. There's no upcharge for a different design on each side (as long as I'm printing the same total quantity).
Do you have a template I can design against?
Yep. Grab the one you need below. Each template has the exact dimensions, bleed area, and safe zone marked out.

- Top Loader stickers, wide: Download the wide Top Loader template (PDF)
- Top Loader stickers, narrow: Download the narrow Top Loader template (PDF)

Design and artwork
How do I design for holographic stickers?
Holographic vinyl has a shimmer effect that only shows up in the unprinted (white) areas of your design. Wherever you have ink, the holographic effect is hidden behind the color. So for the best shine, design with empty white space where you want the holo to show through.
For example, if you have a dark logo on a white background, the logo will print solid and the background will be fully holographic. If your logo is mostly light or has large open areas, less of the holo will show.
I put together a visual reference showing what different colors look like when printed on holographic vinyl. Take a look before you order so you know what to expect:
If you're still not sure how your design will translate, send it to me and I'll tell you before you order.
What happens if my logo is tall instead of wide?
Most of the sticker products are sized wider than they are tall, so a vertical logo will either shrink a lot or have empty space on the sides. I'm working on narrower options for some products. If your logo is significantly taller than wide, email me before ordering so I can take a look and suggest the best fit.
Reorders
How do I reorder a design I've already ordered?
Every custom order comes with a reorder number. Where to find it depends on what you ordered:
-
One Touch stickers and Top Loader stickers: The reorder number is printed on the top left of your previous order sheet. Look for a label that reads
Reorder: 1234567890. - Hockey pucks, die cut stickers, SpringCore stands, and everything else: The reorder number is on the packing slip included in the shipment.
When you're ready to reorder, place a new order on the website and enter your reorder number in the reorder field on the product page.
The reorder function pulls your previous artwork only. It does not carry over your material, size, or quantity from the last order. You need to select those specs again yourself before checking out.
If you want the exact same specs as last time and nothing is changing, I can skip the proof step and go straight to print.
If you lost your reorder number or you want to reorder at a different size, email me with your original order number and I'll look it up for you.
If something goes wrong
What if my stickers arrive damaged or hard to peel?
Email me right away with a photo of the problem and your order number. If it's a defect on my end (bad cut, bad peel, wrong product), I'll reprint and ship replacements at no charge. I care a lot about getting this right, so don't hesitate to tell me if something isn't perfect when it arrives.
What if USPS loses my package?
This has been happening more lately, unfortunately. If your tracking hasn't moved in 3+ business days, email me and I'll start a trace with USPS. If the package is confirmed lost, I'll reprint and ship a replacement. UPS is available as a shipping upgrade at checkout if you'd rather skip USPS entirely.
